We also planted two plum and two peach trees a couple of years ago. They're growing but slowly. This drought is really rough.WomanWhoRunsWithHorseshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13444735851486747330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872983555212036732.post-48886367246629865182011-05-10T06:52:14.409-05:002011-05-10T06:52:14.409-05:00Thanks for spelling this out. What she said was true that Borax is toxic to plant life ...but only in high enough concentrations. She had the best of intentions in warning you about the Borax in laundry soap so I hope she would not be offended by me contradicting her.WomanWhoRunsWithHorseshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13444735851486747330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872983555212036732.post-69245633531674984712011-05-01T10:11:25.283-05:002011-05-01T10:11:25.283-05:00Boy, that was a prompt post! I may think of a way to do this, although I would probably divert directly from the drainage hose of the washer to some sort of arrangement that took the water straight out the garage to the front planters. I can't afford to irrigate them anymore, so this would really help. Thanks SO much !!!

KrisKris Watsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02778377853324280255noreply@blogger.com
